Ibla buskers, the cultural event that characterizes the
beginning in Sicilian autumn, become by now, with unsuspected energy, without meaningful
promotional supports, with the strength of an it evidently passes word dense and
convinced, one original space has conquered.
The appointment of Ibla buskers is become meeting loved by the buskerses that, among
noises, rue, plazas and tears open on the exuberance of the Baroque, here to the apex of
its flowering, they find prestigious stage.
The insertion in the World Heritage List of the Unesco, of Ragusa, Ibla and of the Val di
Noto, the following and more recent one "discovery" of the phenomenon
"Iblashire", from a sought after international tourism, have in the facts made
even more interesting Ibla buskers, determining a remarkable flow of presences in Ragusa,
unusual for the period. The suggestion of the places, the possibility to enjoy in Ragusa
some last Mediterranean warmths, proper of this extreme edge of Sicily before the winter
lethargy, makes the event pleasant call. |

Ibla buskers, a festival "from the artisan taste" from
the taken care of preparations but simple, it finds, still more this year, stings strong
in the wealth and quality of the artistic proposals.
We will find again in Ragusa, in the five evenings of the festival, so many artists of
international thickness; from Old England the refined persons arrive "Invisible
Circus" street complete and wise performers; from Spain among the others, the duo
Kidney y Sanbasilio acrobats and skilled jugglers, the Company Malasangre in harmony group
of Flamenco all to the female one, Laura Bolòn, sweet clown; and then the Guri Group
European company (they originate from Spain, Sweden, Germany) of acrobatics and also a
Hispanic-Scandinavian duo the Dancings Marabù , directly from Argentina, the Circus
Circacho, authentic and blood interpreter of the circ noveau and the couple of sparkles
acrobats Fernando y Silvia.
It won't miss the music, as much, vivacious and yearning, sought after and popular; we
signal, besides, the Brothers La strada, ironic and sensitive musicians - narrators, the
marching band Contrabbanda, energetic and inexhaustible, the musical cabaret of the duo
Sasofone&Ukulele, and the Sicilian music with the Folkabola, popular instrumental
ensemble, from the successes in the most greater American and European plazas.
Among the performances of street theater we like to signal the beautiful novelty proposed
by the ragusano Charles Ferreri, actor of theater by now complete, who proposes in the
street the cuntu, and it proposes an original "chronicle in form of cuntu" of a
local fact, in ragusan dialect.
Around one hundred the attended artists, with shows that touch the son-in-laws proper of
the tradition buscadora.
This the caravan wanders about, the "people of the trip", that absorbs the
sounds and the humors of the global culture along the roads of the world, with versatile
sensibility it produces cultural and artistic nomadism suspended light between memory and
experimentation and that, this year, will land in the lukewarm Mediterranean latitudes, to
evoke dreamy horizons to near lines.
The interlacement is already delineated strong, persuasive. Ibla, the Baroque citadel
quietly abandoned "to form of fish" among the spectacular ones "cave"
of the highland Ibleo, open and hospitable, it attends them; the metamorphosis ends, the
air imbues its of sounds, the souk of colors, odors and music, it revives; the show
ignites, the light and yearning passion involves. The time of Ibla Buskers returns. |
